STREET POSTER'S COLLAGES

Posters collected from the streets of Madrid to make collages. Some are painted in oil paint. A very expresionist way to show portraits.

EARLY ARTISITIC PHOTOGRAPHY. 90S.

In the 90s, I embarked on an idea to paint elements and objects and then photograph them in a specially created environment. It's somewhat the opposite of what I do now, where I paint a photograph. Some of these images where made olnly for artistic reasons and other were used to illustrate articles and features in various magazines. The intention was to represent the disorder left by human activity when they had been having a good time at dinners or parties and the appearance left by the disordered glasses or plates, they had a lot of story to tell about the activity of the human being, about the happiness of some moments that had gone out. I think these images are full of positive energy and joy, but they also represent the passage of time. Another characteristic of these photos is that they are taken in negative film, that is, the lights are the shadows, the colors are inverted, etc. They were a form of experimentation and I can say that I was one of the first in the world to use this tchnique.

EXPOSICIÓN "CAOS URBANO"

This exhibition, held in 1998, revolved around the chaos of the big city with its traffic jams and highways, through common objects and everyday household tools, it created visual allegories by juxtaposing these elements with the urban environment.
